Sandwich Notch

$10.00

First settled in the late 1700’s, the land in Sandwich Notch was found to be abundantly fertile, and farms quickly flourished. By the early 1800’s the Notch was cleared of trees and home to more than 300 families, three schools, a sawmill, gristmill and tavern. Summer church services were conducted at Pulpit Rock, and the Notch Road was a major route for transporting goods from northern farmers to the seacoast. After the Civil War, however, the population dwindled and the woods closed back in. Now only one home from those early days still remains.

Hand-Crafted with the finest ingredients:Dark chocolate (cocoa liquor, sugar, cocoa butter, soya lecithin, natural vanilla).Approx. 3oz. (85g)
